2017 Smyrna, GA IEP Town Hall

Date:
Thursday, December 7, 2017
Time:
6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Location:
Smyrna Community Center
200 Village Green Circle
Smyrna, GA 30080

This Town Hall will focus on how Individualized Education Programs (IEP) play a critical role in ensuring that students with autism and other special needs have access to the education that they deserve and to which they are entitled. We will also focus on the importance of understanding your rights, and on how to become the best advocate to your child's education.

The goal of this meeting is to bring together families, service providers and state resources in a positive and collaborative atmosphere.  Our hope is to provide you with the information needed to work with your school district by developing the best possible IEP for your child, so he or she can get the best possible education, and achieve the best possible outcome!

Who should come? Family members, school staff, service providers, and policy makers.

We're sorry, the deadline for registering for this event has passed.
