Hosted by Autism Speaks’ partners at Tao Restaurant Group

 

Students will participate in a full tour of the restaurant facility, experiencing the various roles and responsibilities involved in running a successful restaurant business, from the greeting area, to the kitchen, to the dining room.

After the informational tour, students will participate in a hands on cooking workshop with step by step instructions to create tasty menu items lead by Head Chef Ralph Scamardella from the Tao Group (no open flames, heat sources, or knives will be used to prepare menu items).

The best part! A celebratory tasting will conclude the culinary arts workshop event.

Maximum capacity for the event is 25 students.

The event will run from 11:00 – 12:30pm; but school groups are recommended to arrive at 10:30am.
