Why I Walk for Autism Speaks
I'm walking to raise funds for the mission of Autism Speaks – to fuel innovative research and make connections to critical lifelong supports and services for the autism community. Please support me by donating and help me meet my fundraising goal - and you, too, can join the team and make an impact for people living with autism!
I walk for Jed McNamee and for all the other children affected with Autism. If you could spend one day, or one hour with the parent of these children you would have a whole new respect for those who care for Autistic children. The stress of everyday events can challenge even the most prepared parent. If you have ever lost a child in a store, or even an animal, remember how that felt. Then think how that is multipied when your child can not communicate. At least your dog had a collar with a name, address and phone number. So for that one reason, reach down in your heart and find a way to contribute to the Walk for Autism. Every little bit helps to let reseachers continue their work. Much needed training items be available for those children in need.
Thank you for your gift in advance because I know all of you will find it in your heart to participate.
I earned my Walk Tee Shirt!
