Long Island Walk

Bridges to Adelphi

This is the third year that the Bridges to Adelphi Program will be attending the annual Autism Speaks Walk here on Long Island. Adelphi University's diverse community is such a large part of the culture we embody, and the Bridges to Adelphi Program feels honored to call this place our home. In the words of Doctor Stephen Shore, an Adelphi professor, autism advocate, author, and Board Member of Autism Speaks, "This autism thing is here to stay, it's not something you do things to, it's something you learn to do things better with". With your support, we are hoping that you will join us on our walk to bridge the gap and raise awareness for acceptance, inclusion, and appreciation of autism within Long Island's community at the 20th annual Autism Speaks Walk!
