bat·tal·ion: a large, organized group of people pursuing a common aim or sharing a major undertaking.
Benjamin was just recently diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. He started Early Intervention when he was just 19 months old for a speech delay and sensory issues. He has come such a long way and continues to progress every day. There was a time he wasn't saying any words, and now new words are a weekly occurance.
Benjamin is always smiling and laughing and is such a pleasant little boy to be around. He looks at the world with such curious eyes and sees beauty in so many things we tend to take for granted. He always seems to embrace learning new things, even when the tasks seem frustrating or difficult for him and suprises us daily with how quickly he learns.
We walk this walk with Benjamin in support of the amazing journey he has been taking us on and we invite everyone to walk with Benjamin's Battalion on October 14.
If you can’t be there, please consider making a donation which will go directly to the Autism Speaks Foundation and help with their research and support.
Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for all of your support during this journey. Benjamin will succeed in all he does because of all of us who surround and love him.
