Washington, DC Walk

AllYouNeedIsLoves

Autism Speaks is a cause that has been very close to Aubrey’s heart for a long time. She participated in th annual DC walk before joining her sorority , Alpha Xi Delta, and then continued supporting as a sister who held her national philanthropy dear. In 2014, when Robert and Aubrey had just started talking to each other, but had not yet met, Robert surprised her by asking what her plans for the weekend were. It so happened they included the Walk for Autism Speaks with her sisters. The next day dawned early with a message from Robert asking if she was, “the tall blonde with the white ball cap”. They finally met, Aubrey swooned over his motorcycle jacket and the fact he’d ridden from Sterling to DC on a motorcycle on a very cold October day. The rest adds up to a life of love and a promise of forever. In lieu of favors on our wedding day, we have made a donation to Autism Speaks . We would like to invite you to donate, if you wish, join our team, and even consider coming to DC on October 6th to walk with us! It’s a great cause, it’s close to our hearts and we’d love for you to join us!

All of our love,

Aubrey and Robert

join our team in raising funds to have a voice with legislators, to have access to the information and resources we need, to support research and medical discovery, and to help fund local services through the mission of Autism Speaks. Together, we can accomplish amazing things for people living with autism. Join the team and begin your fundraising journey today! Set your individual goal at $150 and you’ll be eligible for a Walk Tee Shirt – which, by the way, was purchased from a business that employs people with autism.
