Team Trixie (for the love of Janessa-Michelle Isaacs)
Please support us in raising funds for Autism Speaks. This organization was chosen to honor Janessa (aka DJ Trixie) through collaboration with members of her family. Together, in the very spirit Janessa embodied, we can accomplish amazing things for people living with autism.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of her life on March 14, 2020 from 7:30 - 8:45pm at Platforms Dance Club (165 Poe Street, Providence, RI). There will be an opportunity to speak, share a memory, poem, or life experience you have of Janessa.
A fundraising dance event "PLUR or Else: In Remembrance of DJ Trixie" will be held at that location from 9pm - 2am. Cost will be $20, with 18 DJs in 3 three rooms of music, as well as Art Gallery of Janessa’s art, a Silent Art Auction, DJ Trixie Remembrance Bags, and more.
"Janessa was an artist, a musician, a gardener, and an athlete. She was generous, funny, kind, compassionate, and smart. She was a mother, a sister, a daughter, an aunt. and a friend. Janessa was all of these things and so much more. She took all those who loved her on adventures, taught us new things, and enriched our lives. May her memory always be a blessing."
- Lauryn Isaacs Marcus (Janessa's sister)
