Why I Walk for Autism Speaks
Why I walk for AS? That guy on the left!! Feffs is the most amazing, charismatic, intelligent, thoughtful, and thought-provoking human I've ever met. He also happens to be severely disabled with autism and completely non-verbal. He *also* happens to be the bestest big brother in the world. Life is hard for him, and that really sucks, especially given all that he has given my siblings and me ('sup empathy/compassion/catlike reflexes) - and everyone else who has been lucky enough to enter his world. As an incredibly grateful little sis, I want to do whatever I can to make life a little easier for him and to make him feel celebrated. And selfishly (bc, hello, little sis over here), I really, really, really want to hear him speak. Please help us raise money for research and advocacy. Your donation is both very important and very appreciated - as are you. Thank you in advance! Unless you're reading this after you've already donated, in which case just...thank you. Thank you thank you thank you thank you. Sending all the love and awkwardly long hugs your way. (From me. You gotta work up to the hugs w Feffs ;)) xxx
