Walk News and Updates
Wow, this year’s Western Connecticut Walk was incredible. To all of you who joined us Saturday, thank you. Thank you for fundraising. Thank you for coming together as a community to celebrate, connect, and inspire. And thank you for being the power behind the love. You are amazing.
If you weren’t able to join us Saturday, we hope that you will join us next year. You were missed!
Here are some highlights from this year's event:
A warm, but amazing day, with over 2,000 people at Library Park to celebrate the autism community! City officials and walk chairs welcomed all, as the mission moment led by Waterbury Career Academy, counted down to our walk! Through the city streets, cheers, love, and awareness were spread and more fun to be had was welcomed back at the park. We have raised over $100,000 to date, but there is still time to reach your goal and keep going! Click here to see walk day photos, and keep checking back for more – share yours here as well!
Thank you for fueling the research and programs that mean so much to so many. You continue to inspire us with your passion, commitment, and love. The Autism Speaks Community is unlike any other. Thank you for being a part of our family.
