2026 Georgia Advocacy Day Georgia State Capitol
Autism Speaks' Georgia Advocacy Day is an opportunity to share your story, network with other state autism advocates, and make the needs of the autism community heard at the state capitol. Join us as we advocate to redefine possible for people with autism!
We’ll start the day with a morning briefing to prepare you with key talking points on our legislative asks and tips on talking to your legislators. Then you'll attend scheduled meetings with state legislators’ offices to advocate for policies that matter to our Georgia autism community. We will also provide materials for you to take with you and share during your meetings.
A pre-event training will take place via Zoom on Wednesday, February 4 at 12:00-1:00 p.m. Eastern Time to help prepare you for a successful advocacy day experience.
