Join us at the 2022 Autism Speaks Advocacy Forum & Hill Day in Washington, D.C.

This three-day event includes a grassroots conference and Capitol Hill Day filled with trainings, policy presentations, networking, social events, and of course - meetings with your members of Congress and their staff.

  • Monday, February 28 – Our conference day begins at 10:00 a.m. in the Madison Hilton hotel. Guest speakers will guide you through presentations, workshops and discussions on numerous autism policy topics and advocacy skills training. Lunch is provided.
  • Tuesday, March 1 – Our day will start at the Madison Hilton with breakfast (provided). We will then travel to Capitol Hill for a group photo and visits with members of Congress and their staff throughout the day. Lunch is on your own.
  • Wednesday, March 2 – Our day will start at the Madison Hilton with breakfast (provided). Programming will end at 12:00 p.m. (noon). We may be up to 30 minutes away from the hotel (where your luggage may be stored) when programming ends, so for those coming by air or rail, we recommend booking your flight or train out for 2:30 p.m. or later.
Conference programming is still tentative. Additional agenda details will be released as they are available. Start and end times are confirmed so you can confidently make travel arrangements.

Reserve your hotel room online for Sunday, Monday and/or Tuesday night at the Madison Hilton. During busy times of the year, D.C. hotel costs can be high. If you have any questions about travel accommodations, please contact alexandra.smith@autismspeaks.org.

Financial Scholarships: This year, we have the opportunity to offer a limited number of partial scholarships to assist with the financial commitment of attending this national event. They are intended to cover the scholarship recipient's hotel costs. Scholarships will be awarded based on merit and demonstrated need. To apply, please read and complete the online application.

COVID-19: We are constantly monitoring the health and safety concerns of COVID-19 and want to ensure the safety of all attendees and staff. Our programming will follow municipal guidelines and CDC recommendations. We will update and inform you of our policies, procedures and recommendations as we move forward. Please reach out with any questions.
