Join us at the 2025 Autism Speaks Advocacy Forum & Hill Day in Washington D.C. This three-day event includes a grassroots advocacy conference, Capitol Hill Day and congressional reception on the Hill.
Our Schedule:
Monday, July 14 – Our conference day begins at 10am in the National Guard Association Building's Hall of States Ballroom. Guest speakers will guide you through presentations, workshops and discussions on numerous autism policy topics and advocacy skills training. Lunch and afternoon snack are provided while dinner is on your own.
Tuesday, July 15 – Our day will start in the Hall of States again with breakfast (provided). We will then travel to Capitol Hill for a group photo and meetings with members of Congress and/or their staff. Lunch is on your own between meetings. An evening reception will be hosted on the Hill to celebrate our day of advocacy and recognize some of our congressional champions. Heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts and (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) beverages will be served at the reception.
Wednesday, July 16 – For the last day of conference programming, we will provide breakfast at a location near or on the Hill (exact venue location to be shared soon!) The morning will start with reflections from attendees on their Hill Day meetings followed by further discussion on issues affecting the autism community. Official programming will end by 12:00pm. We recommend booking your flight or train out for 2:00 pm or later.
