Sensory Bella

Hi, my name is Shirley, and I began participating in Autism Speaks in 2024 after my daughter, Kali Gibbs, was diagnosed with autism at 4 1/2 years old. While being a parent to a child on the spectrum comes with its challenges, the greater reward lies in watching Princess Kali shine and overcome numerous obstacles at just six years old. Our team Sensory Bella means celebrating the beauty of Kali's experiences, her confidence and bravery while fostering understanding, appreciation, and support for her sensory needs. Follow us on Instagram @sensorybella
