Autism holds a special place in my heart because of my amazing nephew, Amari. He has been one of my biggest inspirations and a constant reminder of the importance of understanding, support, and love.

I currently work as a special education paraprofessional and am going to school to become a special education teacher. This work is more than a job for me, it's my calling. I’m deeply passionate about advocating for individuals who may not always have a voice and helping families find the resources they need to support their loved ones with autism.

Today, over 70 million children and adults are affected by autism. Each individual has unique strengths, challenges, and incredible potential. Organizations like Autism Speaks are there to offer support—and we can too.

Autism Speaks provides essential services, resources, and advocacy efforts to families across the country. Their Autism Response Team helps tens of thousands of people directly each year, and over a million people rely on their free tools and services. They’re also investing in research to improve personalized treatments and therapies.
