Meet Lily

Lily Alitzel is a joyful, curious, and strong-willed 2-year-old who fills our lives with laughter and love. She was diagnosed with autism at the young age of 22 months, and since then, our family has been on a journey of learning, growth, and advocacy.

Like a flower in bloom, Lily is growing in her own time, at her own pace, and in the most wonderful ways. She faces challenges with determination and amazes us with her progress each day. Whether she’s exploring the world through play, engaging with her favorite sensory activities, or sharing her unique way of communicating, Lily reminds us that every child’s journey is special and worth celebrating.

Why We Walk

We walk for Lily. We walk for awareness. We walk for acceptance. Autism is a spectrum, and every individual experiences it in a unique way. Through this walk, we hope to spread love, understanding, and support for all children like Lily. By coming together, we celebrate not only her journey but also the journeys of countless other individuals and families who are part of the autism community.

Every step we take is a step toward a world where individuals like Lily are seen, supported, and celebrated for exactly who they are.
