We are Team Carter! Our 6.5 year old son Carter was diagnosed at age 2.  Our goals are to raise awareness & acceptance for those with Autism. We hope to push for equal rights and access for all, while setting up a brighter future for those with Autism, along with their families and caregivers! Carter is thriving thanks to an early diagnosis, along with early interventions with speech therapy, occupational therapy, and a peer-model structured school system.

We are so thankful for all of the support we've received over the years, and hope that we can give back in any way possible.  We want other families to have the access and therapies that we were so lucky to have!  Beyond all else, we hope for a Kind world in which all are treated as equals & able to succeed without limitations.

We all have our personal reasons for fundraising for Autism Speaks, whether it’s for a family member, a friend, or simply a desire to drive change. Autism Speaks has met so many milestones – advancing life-enhancing breakthroughs in autism care, providing more free, personalized support, increasing childhood screening and intervention resources and working to create a more accepting, understanding and inclusive world for our diverse community. But with more than 70 million people affected by autism today, there is still much more to be done.
