Today, over 70 million children and adults are affected by autism. Each of them, have unique strengths, challenges and potential. Autism Speaks will be there for them. You and I can be too.

In 2014, my son was diagnosed with autism. I was confused and scared of what the future would hold for him. Organizations like Autism Speaks brings hope and positivity which is why I decided to participate in the Empower Challenge. 

The team name and mascot was created by my son. It is a character from a cartoon series he created. I decided to use this to show how amazingly talented people with autism are and to encourage others that a diagnosis doesn’t define you.
