Join me in my efforts to support Autism Speaks!

I am raising funds to support a cause that is important to me while accomplishing a personal goal. 

Autism, or autism spectrum disorder, refers to a range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication.

Autism Speaks is dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families through advocacy and support; increasing understanding and acceptance of autism spectrum disorder; and advancing research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions. They empower people with autism and their families with resources, online tools and information covering the life span. 

Autism Speaks enhances lives today and is accelerating a spectrum of solutions for tomorrow.

As many of you Know, both of my boys have autism. My best friend's children are autistic. I know many others in our small community and there is not a lot of support. There is not a lot of neuro-divergent friendly activities out here. And there is not a lot of awareness and patience for our little ones who route the world around them a little differently. So please join me and help me spread the joy and the awareness.
