Korbie and I are back at again for round 2! This time, we are fundraising for Autism Speaks for me to participate in the walt disney world half marathon. 

I know many of you already know me and my family. My son, Korbin, just turned 6 and is non speaking. We are working to learn how to better incorporate his aac device and generally THRIVING!

Autism Speaks is a great organization that helps so many families like mine. They have provided so many families with resources that are not always available to families in small communities that might not have the means to provide what is best for their child/children. This organization has created a culture for inclusion and provided funds for aac devices, therapies like speech, OT, EI, BHT's, etc. I want to give back to those that have helped me along this journey!

I recently ran the Disney Princess Half for Autism Speaks and I made so many connections with parents and family members with similar struggles but also similar celebrations that might look different to others. 

I have never felt more proud to run for a charity than I do now. These events are truly such a special experience for me and others in my situation. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. We couldn't do any of this without you.
