In 1995, my father had his first epileptic seizure during the New York City Marathon, yes DURING! This led to his diagnosis of epilepsy. This upcoming year marks the 30th anniversary of the “seizure year marathon.” That life-changing moment inspired me to run for causes that matter. I’m running all six World Marathon Majors — Tokyo, Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago, and New York — to raise awareness and funds for different charities.

Races & Charities

I’m starting with the London Marathon in April 2025, running for Team Autism Speaks. Each marathon will support a different cause, from epilepsy awareness to mental health, team for kids and other causes not yet decided. I’m committed to raising vital funds and spreading awareness with each race I complete.

My Why

Every step I take honors my father’s journey and those who are impacted by these causes. Whether it’s supporting kids in need of fitness programs, raising awareness for autism, or supporting other charities, I’m running to make a difference. Autism Speaks is dedicated to supporting individuals with autism and their families by advocating for solutions that span across all ages and stages of life. Their work focuses on increasing awareness, understanding, and acceptance of ASD, while driving research into its causes and improving interventions. Through resources, online tools, and information, Autism Speaks empowers individuals with autism and their families, helping them navigate daily life and plan for the future.
