After an incredible experience in 2021 (with all of your help we were the top fundraising team for Autism Speaks), I have decided to run the NYC Marathon again this year in support of Autism Speaks.
Autism Speaks featured our team on their website following the 2021 race, https://www.autismspeaks.org/blog/i-ran-nyc-marathon-year-my-autistic-brother, and is excited to have us back. Our team remains driven and inspired by my younger brother, Wyatt, who is on the Autism Spectrum.
Since the 2021 race I have become more involved with helping the Autism Community and my passion for helping all of those on the spectrum continues to grow. I have joined the GS Diversity Network as co-head of the Recruitment Pillar and I am currently hopeful to grow my presence within Autism Speaks.
I highlight this as I truly believe Autism Speaks is making a material difference – with each dollar spent is being put to grow awareness, research as well as drive actionable change for the entire Autism Community.
