I’m excited to share that I’ll be running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon this year as part of the Autism Speaks team. It feels great to be raising funds to support a cause that is important to me while working toward my goal of running all six Abbott World Marathon Majors!
Autism Speaks is dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families through advocacy and support; increasing understanding and acceptance of autism spectrum disorder; and advancing research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions. They empower people with autism and their families with resources, online tools and information covering the life span.
April is Autism Awareness Month. In recognition, I humbly ask that you consider donating to my fundraising campaign. With your support, I look forward to meeting (and hopefully exceeding) my goal as I ramp up my training for the big run in October.
