Join me in my efforts to support Autism Speaks!

I am raising funds to support a cause that is important to me while accomplishing a personal goal. One of my nieces, like many other children, lives on the autism spectrum. She has a heart as big as the world, and her love is pure and unconditional. Sadly, her life is filled with challenges that only an organization like Autism Speaks can help with. To that end, I have registered to run a 10K at Disney World to help raise money for this worthwhile organization. 

Autism Speaks is dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families through advocacy and support; increasing understanding and acceptance of autism spectrum disorder; and advancing research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions. They empower people with autism and their families with resources, online tools and information covering the life span. 

Autism Speaks enhances lives today and is accelerating a spectrum of solutions for tomorrow.

I cannot win the race and will probably finish at the back of the pack, but I have agreed to put down my tennis racquet and put on my running shoes to help. Any amount you choose to donate will help me reach my goal. Your support is greatly appreciated!
