Join us in my efforts to support the family of Autism Speaks!

We a helping to support a cause that is close to our family.  Our son Tanner was diagnosed with Autism when he was 2 1/2 years old.  These last couple of years have had ups and downs, tears and full hearts.  He is 8 years old now and thriving!  He is so sweet and special.  Watching him overcome so many obstacles makes us such proud parents.  It hasn’t been easy but consistency and 1% growth is the recipe for success!!

Autism, or autism spectrum disorder, refers to a range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates 1 in 54 children is on the autism spectrum.

Autism Speaks is dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families through advocacy and support; increasing understanding and acceptance of autism spectrum disorder; and advancing research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions. They empower people with autism and their families with resources, online tools and information covering the life span. 

Autism Speaks enhances lives today and is accelerating a spectrum of solutions for tomorrow.
