This time we're running to support Autism Speaks, Marathon style :)

I have had the personal goal of running a Marathon for years, and everything fallen into place for me to do it in 2025. While I am able to crush this personal goal, I will be running for Autism Speaks with ANOTHER goal of raising $2,400 for this incredible organization.

Autism, or autism spectrum disorder, refers to a range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication. Autism effects many families and friends I have known growing up, and I am so excited to be able to support through the privilege of moving my body and advocating.

Autism Speaks is dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families, increasing understanding and acceptance of autism spectrum disorder; and advancing research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions. 

Autism Speaks empowers those with autism and their families with resources, online tools and enhances lives by accelerating a spectrum of solutions for tomorrow.
