This cause is dear to me because I believe in uplifting and advocating for people on the spectrum. Through my work with my local Special Olympics Track & Field group, I have gotten the opportunity to make meaningful relationships with and empower folks on the spectrum through running and movement, and I am passionate about being able to promote accessibility, inclusion, and self-sufficiency in this community. I would love to be able to continue using running as a means to support this community at a larger level by raising funds for Autism Speaks.
