In March 2026, I’ll be running a half marathon—not just for the challenge, but for a cause that’s deeply personal: Autism Speaks.

My oldest son, now 25, has Asperger’s—a form of autism that’s shaped the way he experiences the world and how I’ve come to understand it. Through him, I’ve learned about resilience, perspective, and the importance of advocacy. Supporting Autism Speaks is my way of giving back to a community that has helped us navigate, grow, and thrive.

Autism Speaks works to enhance lives across the spectrum through research, advocacy, and support services. Their mission aligns with my own: to foster greater understanding, inclusion, and opportunity.
