Hello, my name is Kyle Achu, and I am a high school senior on the Autism Spectrum. I was diagnosed at age 3 and did not speak clearly until I was 5 years old. With the help of therapy, services, supportive teachers, and most importantly the amazing support of my family, I found my voice.

Today, I am preparing to graduate high school and head to college, something that once felt impossible. Now, I want to give back.

This year, I am taking part in the Autism Speaks Empower 5K Run/Walk 2025 to raise funds for autism research, advocacy, and services. My fundraising goal is $3000 before race day.

Autism affects more than 70 million children and adults worldwide. Each person has unique strengths, challenges, and potential. Autism Speaks is there for them and with your support, so can we.
