Today, over 70 million children and adults are affected by autism.  Hello my Name is Ericka and my 4 year old son was diagnosed with autism. My son has been in school since he was one years old and since he attended regular daycare I’ve found myself getting numerous amounts of calls because the school staff just didn’t have the time or the patience to care for him. Arion is the sweetest non verbal child you could ever meet and if you actually took the time to pay attention he’s one of the easiest kids you could care for . Kids with Autism are baby geniuses. A lot of teachers and parents and a lot of ppl in our community don’t really understand there’s a wide spectrum for children with autism and I will never stop advocating for them we need community awareness and we need to come together to show these kids no matter how different they may seem we support them You can find out even more about where your fundraising dollars go at autismspeaks.org/our-work.
