Autism is a journey, and for me, it’s been a deeply personal one. My son, Nash, is autistic. Navigating this world without a handbook was overwhelming at times. Nash wasn’t diagnosed until he was 3 because I didn’t know what I was doing. He didn’t start full-time ABA therapy until he was 5. Looking back, there are so many things I could have done better, even though I had a strong support system.
What I’ve learned is that raising an autistic child requires resources, education, and community. Many children with autism aren’t getting what they need because their families can’t afford it or simply don’t know where to start and how to navigate. That’s why this cause is so important to me.
This year, I’m joining the Autism Speaks Walk to raise funds for the autistic community. Autism Speaks provides vital support to families, including free nationwide services, educational resources, and connections to therapies that can truly change lives. They also invest in research that brings us closer to personalized treatments for individuals with autism.
Your donation can make a real difference. Together, we can support families and children who are on this journey and ensure they have access to the resources they need. Every dollar helps provide hope, guidance, and a better future for those affected by autism.
Please join me by donating to my fundraising goal. Let’s make a meaningful impact together—for Nash and for the millions of other children and adults with autism.
Thank you so much for your support.
