Working Together Charitably began as a way to support diabetes awareness, when one of our co-workers child was diagnosed with T1D (Tiny T-Rex Roars Against Diabetes) but quickly became something much greater - a way to bring people together to make a difference in many causes that touch our hearts.  I immediately became event coordinator and decided to run with it.

I thought of another co-worker, Clara, who has a autistic child. Watching the love, patience, and strength that Clara shows every day as a mom has been truly inspiring.
My thought immediately went to supporting her.  I found Autism Speaks and here we are.

Hosting this walk for Autism Speaks is my way of honoring Adrian - and all the families who walk this journey every day. I want this event to not only raise awareness and funds, but also spread understanding, compassion, and hope. Every step we take is for Adrian and for every child whose unique light deserves to shine brightly.
