Our Team's name is Tiger Tribe!

Participating in this autism walk is a deeply personal and meaningful endeavor for us, as it is in honor of my son DeMir ("Tiger") , who is a high-functioning child on the autism spectrum. Diagnosed at three years old with ASD-1, DeMir demonstrated remarkable advancements but faced sensory challenges, particularly with eating, sounds, and sleeping. Despite these hurdles, we strive to live a fulfilling and “normal” life, actively engaging in social events and community activities. DeMir is currently enrolled in ABA therapy, where we've seen exceptional improvements over the past few months especially with social interactions. Participating in this walk not only represents our journey but also our commitment to celebrating his achievements, raising awareness and supporting others on a similar journey.
