Today, over 70 million children and adults are affected by autism. Each of them, have unique strengths, challenges and potential. Devan was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2 since that time he?s had several trials and tribulations. He survived, changing schools, different teachers, Special environments and types of therapy. At the age of 31, Services are limited if any. He still needs help on a daily basis to live a somewhat normal lifestyle.  He is in need of a speech therapy, communication skills, aquatic therapy, behavioral therapy, music therapy, and occupational. He has been able to receive some as of recent. But the adults are sometimes forgotten. The support of people like us that Autism Speaks can continue their vital mission work.
