Hi, Everyone! 

My name is Dr. Simbi Animashaun. I walk because autism is personal to me. As a mother of 4 incredible children on the spectrum, and the Founder & CEO of Horizon Over the Spectrum (HOTS), I have experienced firsthand the beauty, complexity, and challenges that come with raising neurodivergent children. Every day, I advocate not only for my own family but for the millions of families walking similar journeys filled with hope, resilience, and a desire for inclusion.

There are over 70 million children and adults worldwide affected by autism. Behind each diagnosis is a unique individual with gifts to share and a community that needs support. That is why I am proud to raise funds for Autism Speaks because they champion vital services, advocacy, research, and resources that help individuals with autism thrive.
