Today, over 70 million children and adults are affected by autism. Each of them, have unique strengths, challenges and potential. Autism Speaks will be there for them. You and I can be too.

This year, I?m participating in the Empower 5K to raise awareness and support for the autism community ? a cause that?s deeply personal to me.

I?m the proud mom of two beautiful young boys who are both autistic. They see the world in their own unique, brilliant ways, and every day they teach me about resilience, joy, and what it truly means to love without limits.

Our journey as a family has been full of learning ? celebrating progress both big and small, finding strength in community, and advocating for a world that better understands and embraces neurodiversity. Events like this remind us that we?re not alone, and that together, we can help create a future where every autistic person is supported, accepted, and valued for exactly who they are.

Every dollar raised helps fund programs, research, and resources that make a real difference for individuals and families like ours.
