Why I Walk for Autism Speaks
Greetings, Family, and Friends. As you know, my son Daniel was diagnosed with Autism at the age of two and half years. As a single- mother of four and one being special needs. You can imagine that this was a very traumatic time for myself and my family, but we overcame, and we got through it with our faith in God, our love, and our loyalty to Daniel. We believed that he would overcome, and he would be a testimony to many. Daniel was diagnosed on the high end of the spectrum. He is now considered mild to moderate. Thanks to a lot of care and support from the Marcus Autism Center, Children’s Hospital, Hope Bridge Autism center, and his teachers at Spring Hill Elementary, a thriving 4th grader. Please help us support this cause because we know that Daniel is not alone. 1:34 boys and 1:44 girls are diagnosed with Autism each year. Many families are without knowledge, support, or research. Giving to this foundation helps many families with the help they need in this journey to support their “ Au-some child.” We appreciate your support of “ The A-Team Heros”.walking to raise funds for the mission of Autism Speaks - to fuel innovative research and make connections to critical lifelong supports and services for the autism community. Please support me by donating and help me meet my fundraising.
