On December 4, 2024, Zyan was diagnosed with autism. Just a month later, in January 2025, he began early intervention—speech therapy, occupational therapy, and special instruction. Initially, he could only repeat his alphabet and numbers. Today, he can hold basic conversations, showing the beauty of his growth.
Zyan’s journey is living proof of God’s promise that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). He went from playing alone to becoming open and friendly. He went from refusing to eat to bravely trying new foods, a reminder that with faith, even small steps forward are great victories.
Every milestone Zyan reaches is proof of Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” His story is not just about progress, but about God’s faithfulness—how love, prayer, and perseverance turn challenges into triumphs.
Today, over 70 million children and adults are affected by autism. Each of them has unique strengths, challenges, and potential. Autism Speaks will be there for them, and you and I can be too.
We walk for Zyan because he is a light, a fighter, and a living reminder of God’s perfect design. Please join us by donating to help reach our fundraising goal. Together, we have the power to enhance the lives of people with autism and make a meaningful difference. Thank you so much for your support!
