As most of you know, my son Josh is on the autism spectrum. Alot of you have been following Josh on his journey through the years via different social media channels, along with your amazing support for the Autism Speaks Walk. Josh has been working since January 3 days a week at the Jewish Museum in Manhattan. He commutes every day via LIRR and subway. He is excelling at work. His biggest challenge is navigating the subway when there are disruptions, With your continues support of Autism Speaks and of Josh I am sure I will be able to report to you next year some more amazing accomplishments of Joshs. Next step? independent living...
In addition to coming together in person to help create a world where all people with autism can reach their full potential, each Walk will retain the fun, remote-participation options introduced last year. Your safety is our priority — and no matter how you choose to participate, your support will be recognized and celebrated. Our community is stronger together, and we can't wait to celebrate one another and the amazing impact we are making together for people with autism and their families. Whether near or far, let's rally together on Walk day!
