Hello! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being here :) As some of you may know our little guy, Brendan was recently diagnosed with Autism just weeks before his 2nd birthday. We are still adjusting to the news and preparing to learn a whole lot but luckily we have the most supportive family and friends to help us as we go! We decided immediately that the only way to approach this new reality of ours was the only way we know how, with a positive mindset! And we felt the Autism Speaks Walk was the best way to surround ourselves with exactly that, positivity! So whether you are able to donate to our fundraising goal, walk alongside us in support of Brendan or simply read about our little guy we appreciate you. THANK YOU!!
In addition to coming together in person to help create a world where all people with autism can reach their full potential, each Walk will retain the fun, remote-participation options introduced last year. Your safety is our priority — and no matter how you choose to participate, your support will be recognized and celebrated. Our community is stronger together, and we can't wait to celebrate one another and the amazing impact we are making together for people with autism and their families. Whether near or far, let's rally together on Walk day!
