Today, over 70 million children and adults are affected by autism. Each of them, have unique strengths, challenges and potential. Autism Speaks will be there for them. You and I can be too.

For me, personally, I am doing this walk in honor of my goddaughter, Ava. Ava was diagnosed with Autism when she was 3 and at the time I thought that meant the end of the world for her. I was afraid of what that meant for her moving forward and wondered how she would navigate through life. What I learned is that everything is still possible, even with Autism. Ava is one of the smartest and brightest kids I know and I am honored to be doing this for her..
