Fundraising with Just Maddie

Welcome to Just Maddie walk page

My Maddie has always been different. When I say that, I always called her my sweet and sour patch. She has always been one to be left alone. Likes affection when ready. She's my toe walker She don't like loud noises but is very loud. She like routine don't you dare break them. She's a picky eater , textures matter. She is a little more open to people. Don't make eye contact. She can go from 0-100 quick with emotions. She a pure joy once you know her. She means no harm when she dont speak or shut downs. She's Just Maddie. Maddie has normal daily struggles and has affected her in school. We've had some really amazing teachers that get her. She has Autism and I will continue to do regular stuff as much as possible with her. She belongs in the world as any other. So the world and her shall adapt together. She's my baby. #justmaddie

Today, over 70 million children and adults are affected by autism. Each of them, have unique strengths, challenges and potential. Autism Speaks will be there for them. You and I can be too.

It's only through the dedicated support of people like us that Autism Speaks can continue their vital mission work. Each year, the Autism Speaks Autism Response Team makes direct contact with tens of thousands of individuals looking for advice or guidance and more than one million people access their free nationwide autism services and resources. They continue to partner and support research to improve the lives of people with autism by investing in science that will allow more personalized treatments and therapies. You can find out even more about where your fundraising dollars go at autismspeaks.org/our-work.

Please join me by donating to help me reach my fundraising goal. Together, we have the power to enhance the lives of people with autism and make a meaningful difference. Thanks so much for your support!

ACHIEVEMENTS

DONORS

In addition to coming together in person to help create a world where all people with autism can reach their full potential, each Walk will retain the fun, remote-participation options introduced last year. Your safety is our priority — and no matter how you choose to participate, your support will be recognized and celebrated. Our community is stronger together, and we can't wait to celebrate one another and the amazing impact we are making together for people with autism and their families. Whether near or far, let's rally together on Walk day!
