TEAM FUNDRAISING GOAL: $500

Sincere is turning 4 in November and has level 3 non verbal autism which is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects how an individual communicates and behaves. They are compromised in social communication, exhibiting atypical social behaviors or may walk away in the middle of an interaction. These individuals require substantial support with verbal communication. They often scream out of frustration because of their cognitive inability to verbally communicate, they have very restricted interests and diets, do not like eye contact, bright lights, loud noises or large crowds of people and exhibit frequent, repetitive behaviors like jumping, rocking or spinning as a means to self-stimulate to regulate themselves internally.

It’s been a long journey but we are making progress.

Our team has a fundraising goal of $500 (or more). Funds raised at the DC Walk help fund critical programs and services for autistic children in the DMV area.
