Troy's Dream Team

Raised $2,500
Walk Goal $3,000

Help us reach our goal!

In addition to coming together in person to help create a world where all people with autism can reach their full potential, each Walk will retain the fun, remote-participation options introduced last year. Your safety is our priority — and no matter how you choose to participate, your support will be recognized and celebrated. Our community is stronger together, and we can't wait to celebrate one another and the amazing impact we are making together for people with autism and their families. Whether near or far, let's rally together on Walk day!

Baltimore Walk

Troy's Dream Team

I am participating in the Baltimore Walk, in FALL of 2024.

Troy was diagnosed with autism in February, and while most of our close family and friends we see frequently know, so many other people in our lives don't. While I didn't think it was important for people to know, as he gets older I don't want to feel like it's something I'm hiding or ashamed of. He is my baby and I love him more than anything. It is who he is, it is the life we live, and I feel like I should be open about it, and sometimes I'd like to share when exciting things happen and help raise awareness. I would love for you to support my team, Troy's Dream Team! Our team will be walking together , in person this year!

You can sign up to walk or run, virtually, or in person, or just show your support with a donation! Every dollar counts, and every step you take will help bring hope to over 70 million children and adults that are affected by autism. Each of them, have unique strengths, challenges and potential. Autism Speaks will be there for them. You and I can be too.

It's only through the dedicated support of people like us that Autism Speaks can continue their vital mission work. Each year, the Autism Speaks Autism Response Team makes direct contact with tens of thousands of individuals looking for advice or guidance and more than one million people access their free nationwide autism services and resources. They continue to partner and support research to improve the lives of people with autism by investing in science that will allow more personalized treatments and therapies.
