"Autism is part of my child. It's not everything he is. My child is so much MORE than a diagnosis."

My sweet Adonis, is one of 70 million that is affected by Autism. He has great strengths, faces some challenges, and shows great resilience and grit daily!  But his diagnosis does not define him.

Being new to the autism community was intimidating, to say the least. We weren't prepared and there wasn't time to "iron out" details; instead, we submerged ourselves headfirst into this new lifestyle. And thanks to Autism Speaks, the transition was seamless. We had a plethora of information at our fingertips-- resources, best practices, therapies, articles, school options, support groups, and so much more. Not only did this provide us with a sense of hope for Adonis, but it also welcomed the idea that the futures of all of the Neurodivergent children looks promising!

Not only is Autism Speaks an organization that is fully dedicated to support and better the lives of the autistic community, but you can also be an integral part of this change! It is only through the dedicated support of people like us that Autism Speaks can continue their vital mission work to partner and support research to improve the lives of people with autism by investing in science that will allow more personalized treatments and therapies.
