As many of you may know, Ethan and Evan were diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) within the last two years. Since their diagnosis, it has been a difficult journey with acquiring resources and services to assist them in maximizing their potential regarding verbal communication, social interactions and developing healthy coping mechanisms. However, with perseverance, dedication and a care team of specialists, we have been able to provide the boys with individualized support that have allowed them to progress and improve on their skill deficits. Ethan and Evan have unique strengths and challenges. How they input, process and analyze  information may be different, and it has taught us patience, compassion and understanding. 

Both of the boys are amazing in their own right  and have so much to contribute to their community and hopefully with increased awareness, support and resources, other families will be able to navigate their own journey with more assistance and care.
