Thank you for visiting my walk page. We are walking for my son Jaxon. After many years of doctor’s appointments, my concerns being swept under the rug, early intervention, waitlists, meeting, etc. Jaxon was finally diagnosed with autism as well as some other developmental delays and struggles. Since Jaxon was just under a year old I always suspected that he was autistic. The signs were all there; loss of language, toe walking, playing alone, not responding to his name, no eye contact, sensitivity to sounds, and sensory seeking behavior just to name of few. Jaxon has had his own set of unique challenges to overcome but my god has he come so very far. To know Jaxon is to love him, he’s silly, loving, happy and so very smart.
Although Jaxon’s experiences in the world may be different it’s what makes him who he is. My intelligent, caring, inquisitive, Disney loving little boy!
We are participating in The Northern New Jersey autism speaks walk on September 21, 2024 and no donation is too small.
