We first learned of our youngest son’s autism diagnosis at his first development pediatrician visit. At the time, we had no idea what this meant or how we would need to adjust our parenting style to accommodate for our son’s learning differences. For us, this walk is personal and a culmination of our combined family effort to help spread awareness and lift up parents who are in our shoes.

Since our son’s diagnosis, we have utilized many resources, like Autism Speaks, and continue to see the growth of services in our town and county. Our son has a different learning approach, which makes him so unique - he has started reading at the age of 3, has an amazing photographic memory, picked up piano at the age of 4 and so much more. 

We love you so much David, thank you for making us even better parents than we can ever imagine. Continue to be you.
