Team Wonder Twins was formed in 2008 to support our then 3-year old identical twin sons Nicholas and Christopher who were diagnosed with autism the prior year. Sharing the news of our first walk was our way to let our family and friends know that our sons were diagnosed with autism. Fast forward 6 years later, our youngest son Alexander was also diagnosed with autism. We walk to support our 3 sons, our friends, and all individuals with autism. We walk to spread awareness and gain acceptance. Please join our family for our 17th consecutive year as participants in the Autism Speaks Walk at Jones Beach in Long Island on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. Let us know if you'd like to meet up there - we'd love to see you! Thank you for your love and support throughout the years!
In addition to coming together in person to help create a world where all people with autism can reach their full potential, each Walk will retain the fun, remote-participation options introduced last year. Your safety is our priority — and no matter how you choose to participate, your support will be recognized and celebrated. Our community is stronger together, and we can't wait to celebrate one another and the amazing impact we are making together for people with autism and their families. Whether near or far, let's rally together on Walk day!
