Our journey with autism began when our son, River Dawn, started receiving Early Intervention services at 18 months old. Shortly after his second birthday, River was officially diagnosed with autism. Initially, the diagnosis was hard to digest, but with time, support, and faith, we embraced our journey with optimism.

We are incredibly fortunate to have a great School Based Support team, along with amazing family and friends who are unwavering in their encouragement. Their support has been instrumental in helping River thrive and in maintaining our positivity throughout this journey.

We are not just walking for River, but for all the children in our community who are affected by autism. This walk symbolizes our commitment to raising awareness, fostering understanding, and supporting every individual on the autism spectrum.
