Help us reach our goal!

In addition to coming together in person to help create a world where all people with autism can reach their full potential, each Walk will retain the fun, remote-participation options introduced last year. Your safety is our priority — and no matter how you choose to participate, your support will be recognized and celebrated. Our community is stronger together, and we can't wait to celebrate one another and the amazing impact we are making together for people with autism and their families. Whether near or far, let's rally together on Walk day!

Walk For James

As always, I am proud to be Team Captain of the Walk for James Team at this year’s Long Island Walk on October 13, 2024 at Jones Beach. This is our 18th year walking to raise funds for Autism Speaks. As you all know, the Walk for James team was created in the name of our nephew James.

James has returned to his day program and is doing well.  When at home, he is continuing to shred papers, which is his favorite pastime!

We Walk for James and support Autism Speaks as they continue to advocate for federal and state policies that will increase community living options for adults with autism. That initiative has always been what we feel is the greatest need for the autism community, as Jerry and Joy grow older. Autism Speaks has consistently pushed funding for many of these programs and I am proud to be a part of this worthy cause and hope to raise money to help with these projects.

I am once again asking for your support. If you would like to join our Team or walk with us at Jones Beach on Oct 13th, please click Team link and join our Team. Otherwise, click on my personal link and make a donation today. We could not do this without the love and support of our family and friends and we are forever grateful!

Thank you so much!!
